New Anatolian Shepherds at Cheetah Outreach!
Our Turkish Anatolian guard dog breeding programme is expanding. Dogs from the US and Turkey were recently imported to introduce new bloodlines to our breeding stock.
Mercedes and Londiwe, one-year-old females, arrived from the US in October. Three three-month-old puppies, arrived from Turkey in November. The male has been named Thor and one of the females Chenin. The other female puppy will be named by New Zealand Zoo as part of their January fundraiser for Cheetah Outreach.
The dogs will be used for breeding from two years of age.
