Welcome Jessica and Yogi

Welcome Jessica to Cheetah Outreach

Jessica joined the Cheetah Outreach staff in February.  She trained as a veterinary nurse in the U.S., earning a Vet Tech degree at North Shore College in Massachusetts.  She also has a BA from Rhodes University in South Africa.  Jessica worked as a vet nurse in the UK for 1 ½ years and was manager of Lory Park Zoo in Johannesburg for 8 months.  She will be in charge of animal health and nutrition.

We are pleased to have Jessica with her vet expertise and experience on the Cheetah Outreach team.

Welcome Yogi to the Cheetah Outreach Staff

Yogi started volunteering at Cheetah Outreach in December 2008.  He became a temporary staff member a year later and in February joined the staff permanently.  He has taken over responsibility for the Cheetah Outreach volunteer programme.  In his spare time, Yogi is continuing his studies and working toward a degree in Socio-informatics.  He used to do a radio show but now only has time to DJ at a club in Stellenbosch twice a week. Yogi loves sharing his passion for cheetahs with visitors and new volunteers.

We are pleased that Yogi is now permanently part of the Cheetah Outreach team.
