Sha (1996 – 2011)

With great sorrow, Cheetah Outreach said good-bye to Sha on 3 October.  At 15 years of age, Sha was the Grand Old Lady of Cheetah Outreach.  Born in the wild in September 1996, she was orphaned and rescued by a family who raised her.  When they could no longer care for her, Cheetah Outreach offered her a home and she became a beloved member of our family.  Strong and healthy throughout most of her life, age finally wore her body down and she died peacefully in the company of those she loved most.

For such a small cat, Sha was a huge presence.  It is a huge loss for Cheetah Outreach and those who loved her dearly.  She will be greatly missed but will live on forever in our hearts.
