Phoenix has joined the Cheetah Outreach family permanently.  Formerly known as Peter, he and his brother Pedro came to Cheetah Outreach at 6 months of age in March 2009 from Bester Birds & Animals Zoo Park in Johannesburg.  The boys were raised as ambassador cats and immediately began meeting the public.  Not only does Phoenix participate in encounters with the public at the facility but he is also now taking part in off-site functions.  Over the past year, we’ve all become very fond of Phoenix and are pleased he is staying as part of our ambassador programme.
