Three new male cubs from De Wildt Cheetah and Wildlife Centre have arrived at Cheetah Outreach. They are just over four weeks old. Two are brothers, one of them a king cheetah; the other male is from a different litter. The two brothers have been temporarily named Felix and Heathcliff (the king cheetah), and the other male named Garfield. These cubs will be raised at Cheetah Outreach to become ambassadors for their species.
We owe a big thank-you to British Airways for transporting the cubs from Johannesburg to Cape Town, with special thanks going to pilot James Ansell and to Kerry Taylor, who made all the arrangements for the cubs’ flight.
