Phoenix
Phoenix was born at Bester Birds & Animals
Zoo Park on 18 August, 2008 and came to
Cheetah Outreach with his brother Pedro at 6
months of age in March 2009. He takes part
in our awareness programme, greeting
visitors at our facility as well as in functions at
off-site venues. He lives with his brother
Pedro.

Pedro
Born at Bester Birds and Animals Zoo Park in
Johannesburg, Pedro came to Cheetah
Outreach with his brother Phoenix at 6
months of age and was raised to be an
ambassador cat. Pedro participated in our
awareness programme for many years but is
now retired from encounters. He lives with
his brother Phoenix.

Chobe
Chobe was born at the Ann van Dyk Cheetah
Centre on 22 May, 2009. He came to
Cheetah Outreach at a few weeks of age to
be hand-raised as an ambassador cat and
stayed to become part of our awareness
programme. Chobe is an impressive cat at
60 kg. He is also our fastest cat, entertaining
visitors at public runs.
Ebony
Ebony was born at Cheetah Experience on
10 April, 2014 and hand-raised. He takes part
in our awareness programme, greeting
visitors in encounters at our facility as well as
at onsite and off-site functions. With his sweet
and easygoing temperament, he enjoys
interaction with everyone and has turned into
a wonderful ambassador for Cheetah
Outreach.

Rafiki
Rafiki was born at Cango wildlife ranch on 6th
May 2014 and hand-raised. He takes part in
our awareness programme, greeting visitors
in encounters at our facility. Not related, he
was raised with Ebony and the two form a
strong coalition.

Macjik
Macjik was born at Cheetah Experience on
15 April, 2015, and hand-raised at Cheetah
Outreach to be an ambassador cat. He takes
part in our awareness programme, greeting
visitors in encounters and walks at our facility
and at onsite and off-site functions. A very
confident cat, he has grown into a great
ambassador. He lives with his adopted
brother Romeo.

Tobias
Tobias was born at Cheetah Experience on 13
November, 2016 and hand-raised at Cheetah
Outreach to be an ambassador cat. He takes
part in our awareness programme, greeting
visitors in encounters, functions and photo
shoots at our facility. He's a very playful cat
and especially loves to play with cardboard
boxes. He lives with his brothers Kitu and
Tinashe.

Kitu
Kitu was born at Cheetah Experience on 13
November, 2016 and hand-raised at Cheetah
Outreach to be an ambassador cat. He takes
part in our awareness programme, greeting
visitors in encounters, functions and photo
shoots at our facility. He's a very playful cat
and especially loves to play with cardboard
boxes. He lives with his brothers Tobias and
Tinashe.

Tinashe
Tinashe was born at Cheetah Experience on
13 November, 2016 and was initially hand-
raised there before coming to Cheetah
Outreach at about a year of age to join his
brothers as an ambassador cat. He takes part
in our awareness programme, greeting
visitors in encounters at our facility. He's a
very sweet cat who loves human attention. He
lives with his brothers Kitu and Tobias.

Romeo
Romeo was born at Cango Wildlife Ranch on 23
May, 2015 and hand-raised at Cheetah Outreach
to be an ambassador cat. He takes part in our
awareness programme, greeting visitors both in
encounters and walks at our facility and at onsite
and off-site functions. He is extremely affectionate
and loves all the attention he gets during
encounters as well as from staff and volunteers
